Ruin pubs
Budapest is famous for its ruin pubs, where the idea is to acquire an old building, fill it with different types of furniture and invite people to enjoy a night-out in this unique place.
Szimpla Kert
Opened in 2002, Szimpla kert was the first ruin pub established in Budapest. Here you can enjoy a number of different drinks, cocktails and snacks, as well as, live music and cultural events.
Anker't
Just a minute walk from Deák Square, you will find Anker’t, Budapest’s biggest ruinpub.

Dürer kert
Dürer kert is the best place for you if you are looking for the combination of having a drink while listening to a rock, indie or electronic music concert.

Ötkert
Ötkert is a huge nightclub inside the city with DJs and live concerts for music lovers and an open-air dancefloor for those who want to move to the music.
During the day Ötkert also operates as a bistro where you can enjoy the French touched Hungarian cusine served on the bistro terrace.

Morrison's 2
Morrison’s 2 is a popular club and pub amonst local with a heated garden with tables in the middle and various dancefloors and karakoke in the basement area.
For a given period, every Wednesday and Thrusday are all you can drink nights, meaning you pay an entering fee, buy a cup (which you can return at the end of the night and get back its price) and drink without paying more all night. Akvárium
A dancefloor and concert hall in one, Akvárium is one of the best places to visit if you want to dance to live music in the city.
Almost all major Hungarian bands have performed here, however, Akvárium regurarly hosts international stars.
You can also have a drink and eat various dishes at Akvárium while waiting for your favourite artists.
